I was born, raised and educated in Tidewater, VA. After college, I began a career with a large multinational chemical firm traveling extensively and working/living in the large metro areas of Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. After a successful sales/marketing career I started my own consulting firm. Building my business took another decade of traveling throughout North America, Mexico and Europe. At that time, my wife Anne and I were ready for a simpler and slower paced life. Our search took a couple of years, but we found The Forgotten Coast area, which is much like the area of my boyhood home. We moved to Indian Pass in 2000, purchased a large land parcel, subdivided it into lots and built a home on the Gulf in 2001; I obtained a real estate license in 2002; achieved the highest dollar sale of $22.5 million in 2006; bought and managed rental property for investment, we sold our Gulf front home in 2011 and now maintain and restore our 1892 historic home. All of these events have taught me valuable real estate lessons. This knowledge I freely share with my customers to aid them in successfully buying or selling a home. Personal service has always been a high priority for me since my high school days as a retail clerk. It is how I do business and a source of pride. Volunteering to give back to the community has always been fulfilling. Through developing the Lion’s Club mentoring program for adolescent boys at a local school, participating in Sea Turtle Patrol, Wildlife rehab and Bay water quality testing, I have been exposed to the uniqueness of our area. With all my varied experience, I feel that I am well equipped to meet all your real estate needs and I look forward to working with you.
