Onshore Fishing, Cast Nets & Knots
Captain Phil Cox, Phil’s Charter Service
Captain Phil Cox is living his dream. After graduating from college he quickly realized that having a job got in the way of fishing. His solution was simple: he became a professional fisherman. After 25 years as a pro bass fisherman in western Kentucky he moved to Port St. Joe in 2010 and has been a full time charter captain and fishing guide every since. During this Tuesdays @ Two presentation, Captain Phil will reveal fishing secrets that can improve your success in finding and catching fish including using the right equipment (tackle, rigs and baits); knots to know; cast net basics and knowing where to fish.
Captain Phil grew up near Huntington, WV, and attended college in Ohio where he graduated with a BS in Marketing. He fishes St. Joe Bay, East Bay and the intercoastal waterway and feels truly blessed to do what he loves every day. He lives with his wife Chrystal in Port St. Joe and has been married 32 years
